2月4号除夕中午，浙江省衢州市，大部分居民都已经开始为晚上的年夜饭忙碌起来。
也是在这个时间，一个年轻的摄影师带着他的相机、三脚架等设备，出现在衢州南湖春苑小区八号楼楼下。他来这里，是为了给住在这里的一户人家拍摄全家福照片。

他叫陈唐衎，这是他连续为衢州市民免费拍摄全家福的第六年。
The young photographer, named Chen Tangkan, has shot free family portraits for citizens of Quzhou for six consecutive years.
还没进门，邀请他来拍摄的小周一家便出门迎接。这是小周外公外婆的家，他们已经住在这里十多年了。屋子面积不大，摆满了年货和各种食物，充满了节日的氛围。
陈唐衎和一家人打过招呼，边聊着天边从袋子里拿出器材，调好相机模式、摆好三脚架，又试拍了几张以便找到合适的光影和构图。
Chen greeted the family and chatted with them while taking his equipment out of the bags. Then he skillfully set the camera mode, assembled the tripod, and tried a few shots to adjust light and composition.
小周和家人们则在一旁帮忙移动桌椅，好腾出空间为拍摄做准备。

“我其实两年前就知道他给市民免费拍全家福这个计划了。但是前两年呢我们家里亲戚总是聚不齐，今年人比较多一些，我就想请陈老师来给家里拍一张全家福”，小周笑着说。
"I knew about this plan about two years ago, but our family members couldn't get together. This year we finally made it. So I invited Mr Chen to do a photo shoot of us," Zhou said.
一切准备就绪，陈唐衎招呼大家坐（站）到相应的位置，开始拍摄。
“西瓜甜不甜？哎对，很好！桔子甜不甜？嗯嗯，不错，再来两张......好下面一家家来，两三人的来几张......” 在陈唐衎的指导下，一家人放松自然地拍好了几张漂亮的全家福。

警察世家
陈唐衎来自一个警察家族，他们家的春节一直都非常简单。
Growing up in a family where all the men have worked as police, Chen has experienced a much simpler Spring Festival compared to others.
“我爷爷生前就是当警察的，我爸爸和我弟弟也是警察系统的。不过我是想做点不一样的事。”陈唐衎遵循自己的想法，成为了一名职业摄影师，业余在杭州经营着自己的独立摄影工作室。

"I come from a police family. My late grandfather was a policeman, and my father as well as my younger brother are also police. I'm the one that chose to do something else," which for him meant becoming a professional photographer.
陈唐衎的父亲陈和福早年从军，后来转业到派出所工作。为了能保一方平安，也让年轻的同事有机会回家和父母团圆，陈和福总是在大年三十主动申请在所里值班。陈唐衎的母亲会带着他来所里和父亲一起吃个年夜饭。
Chen Tangkan's father Chen Hefu joined the army in his early years, and later transferred to the police station of Quzhou to work as a policeman. In order to ensure the safety of citizens and let other young colleagues go home to reunite with family
for Chinese New Year's Eve, Chen Hefu always volunteered to be on duty during that evening, so Chen Tangkan and his mother would come to the police station and have a family dinner there together.

“我们的年夜饭很简单，因为我爸要准时回到岗位工作。加上我也没什么别的活动，就想不如把这个时间用起来，给衢州人免费拍摄全家福。”
“我连外婆一张正面照片都找不到”
陈唐衎真正产生这个想法是在外婆离世的时候。他说：“我当时整理外婆的东西，发现她连一张像样的肖像照都没有。感觉真的特别特别遗憾。” 于是他想为衢州的老人们免费拍摄肖像照。
But the first time the idea occurred to Chen was actually when his grandmother died. He couldn't even find a proper portrait of his grandmother at that time, which was a huge pity for him. So he decided to offer free photo shoots for the elderly during Chinese New Year.
消息发到网上之后，更多人回复说希望能拍全家福。陈唐衎心想拍全家福也不错，可以为较少团聚的家庭留下珍贵的合影，这也是一件有意义的事。于是，在2012年，带着一台相机、一个三脚架、一本笔记本，他开始了新春免费拍摄全家福的旅程。
After
posting this plan online, he received a lot of feedback, but most people expressed a desire to have a family photo taken. Chen thought it was also meaningful to help record a happy moment for a family rarely reunited. So, in 2012, with his camera, flashlight, tripod and laptop, he started the journey of shooting free family portraits in the city during Chinese New Year.

“近几年衢州这边过年最大的变化嘛......从摄影师的角度来说，我感觉是大家更愿意在新媒体平台上分享自己的过年照片了。每次拍摄完全家福，大家也希望能马上收到照片分享出去。所以我一般会当场修片，修好就给他们这样。”陈唐衎说。
陈唐衎并不担心这些免费拍摄的计划会影响到自己的休息时间，他说：“我喜欢摄影，这算是自己的一种爱好和特长，既然如此，何不为家乡做点有意义的事。节假日也总有人要坚守岗位，像我老爸那样。”
Chen doesn't worry about whether these photo shoots occupy too much of his leisure time. "It's nice when you've got a specialty, and it happens to offer an opportunity to do something meaningful for my community. As I've learned from my dad, who has made his contributions year after year, there should always be someone on duty."
